Proper preparation of artwork is key in ensuring a smooth and efficient processing of your order.

Important: Despite the care taken by VINYL DE PARIS to check the graphic files and despite the professionalism of its partners and suppliers, it is occasionally possible that slight contrasts and nuances to the desired rendering of products result once the printing of your files is complete. This is sometimes explained by the visual difference of a file on screen and its rendering once printed.

- Final artwork files must be submitted in PDF 1.3 setting Acrobat 4 (Minimum)

- CMYK FOGRA39 Color Profile (Without ICC Profile inclusions) / 300 DPI resolution with maximum inking of 300%.

- Ensure that final files are CMYK. Design software/applications in RGB are not suitable.

- REMOVE / TURN OFF ALL TEMPLATE LINES OR GUIDES before saving your artwork.

ARTWORK PROOFING

Labels - We no longer issue digital artwork proofs for 12" labels. Please be sure to review the content of your label design before sending us your artwork.

12" Labels : PDF file must be 104mm. We will cut to 100mm. Any text or design elements must not exceed 95mm.

Sleeves - All sleeve artwork files will be checked and a proof issued for your approval.

Inserts and stickers - If technically fit to the correct dimensions these items will be sent directly into print. Please review your design and content before submitting your files.

We offer templates for each product in 3 formats, PDF, AI for Illustrator and PSD for Photoshop. Each template link includes all 3 formats which contain basic instructions.

Please find below brief guidelines to follow when preparing your artwork depending on the preferred file format.

PDF format:

Select the PDF template from the downloaded archive (of your desired product).
Set the resolution at 300dpi is using raster software/application.
Ensure that final files are CMYK. Design software/applications in RGB are not suitable.
Prior to saving the finished artwork file, ensure all template guidelines are switched off or deleted.
Save your final artwork file in PDF format.

PSD Photoshop format:

Select the PSD template from the downloaded archive (of your desired product).
Open the template file directly in Photoshop without making any changes or modifications to the settings.
Design your artwork directly into each layer as required.
Once your design is complete, switch off the template layers by clicking the eye icon for each layer.
Flatten the artwork/layers via layers>flatten artwork
Artwork must be saved in native .psd format.

AI Illustrator format:

Select the PSD template from the downloaded archive (of your desired product).
Open the template file directly in Photoshop without making any changes or modifications to the settings.
Design your artwork directly into each layer as required.
Once your design is complete, switch off the template layers by clicking the eye icon for each layer.
All fonts must be converted to outlines. All images must be embedded in the design/file.
Artwork must be saved in native .ai format.
